Centrifugal Screens

Continuous type

Our Screens are manufactured using the latest state of the art technology in electroforming.  The base metal of the screen is a soft 99.8% pure nickel having 2,200 N/mm2 (230 Kg/mm2) H.V. to provide in built flexibility to the screen segments with a hard chrome plated working surface of 0.01mm thick and hardness of 9000 N/mm2 (900 kg/mm2) H.V. offering excellent resistance to abrasion.

Screens are available for most major manufacturers machine with various slot sizes and patterns suitable for all massecuite grades offering open areas from 5% to 10%.

This feature provides our client with a selection of screens that will ensure low cost centrifugal operation through high sugar purity and low purity molasses.

Batch type

Perforated working screens are available to suit any manufacturers machine with material and perforation size and pattern made in compliance with individual needs.

The material used in the construction of our working screen is subjected to rigorous inspection procedures to ensure a high quality end product most suited for the arduous duty they have to perform under.  Chemical composition and uniform thickness of material are of utmost importance for prolonged life.  Moreover uniformity of perforation is scrutinised to ensure efficient and effective purging.

Backing Screens – Batch type

Woven wire screens are available in brass and 316 stainless steel with mesh size manufactured to suit your particular preference.

Stainless steel 316 is most suited for this application due to its wear resistance qualities against the flow of molasses/run offs.  This feature will prolong the life of the working screen as it is supported more efficiently and uniformly.
