A breakthrough in simplified process technology
Over the past decade, the performance of raw cane or beet sugar juice clarification has improved significantly due to breakthrough in simplified processes. However, the filter mud product still contains significant amount of sugar, and the transport of high-moisture mud product remains expensive.
Why use chemicals and generate waste when not needed!
Our process and method are the sustainable solution that benefits both the industry and the environment. Our process and method offer a more efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional clarification methods such as liming, carbonation or sulphitation or phosphatation, clarifier and mud vacuum filter stations.
Our system eliminates the need for cumbersome conventional processes and the use of chemicals that must later be removed to produce clear juice. It does this by clarifying raw juice without liming and chemicals or waste generation.
Our process and method results in significant cost savings
Our process and method engage neutralisation, clarification, purification and decolouring optionally in a single step with zero retention time for treatment of raw juice in ambient temperature conditions by mechanical means. This process delivers numerous benefits, including the elimination of impurities above 0.5 microns, a reduction in sugar losses, colour, turbidity and viscosity.
Furthermore, our solution eliminates the need for cleaning cycles to remove scaling in evaporators, pans, and centrifuges during juice and massecuite boiling, thereby increasing production throughputs. Furthermore, it eliminates the labour, power, steam and maintenance costs associated with conventional processes and equipment. This results in significant cost savings for both new and existing sugar factories.
Our process and method provides…
- 100% chemical-free organic sugar production process
- Zero retention time process
- Reduced sucrose inversions, turbidity and viscosity
- Eliminates cumbersome conventional process steps
- No scaling in Evaporators, Pans, Centrifuges or prime movers
- Increased throughput of capacity
- No solid or liquid wastes
- Significant reduction of production and maintenance costs
- Lower operating costs for existing plants and capital costs for new plants
